Digital Wallet FAQ

How safe and secure is paying with a digital card?

When you make a purchase, Apple Pay* and Google Pay* use a device-specific account number and unique transaction code to    process the payment. Your card number is never stored on your device or the device's servers, and when you pay, your card numbers are never shared with merchants. Your most recent purchases are kept in the Wallet App for your convenience, but that’s as far as it goes.
