Can deposits above the standard FDIC insurance limit be placed through the Bank?
Yes, through IntraFi Cash Service (ICS). The standard maximum deposit insurance amount is $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category. With ICS, the Bank, acting as custodian, places a client’s funds at other FDIC-insured banks in the IntraFi network in amounts below that limit at each bank, so the placed funds are eligible for FDIC insurance at those banks. The Bank does not provide deposit insurance above the standard limit, and IntraFi is not a bank. A client’s balance at the Bank may exceed the limit before a placement settles or after a withdrawal, and the client is responsible for monitoring any deposits held directly at a network bank. Deposit placement is subject to the terms, conditions, and disclosures in the applicable agreements; the full required disclosure appears on the ICS page.
How does a personal client obtain a loan, mortgage, or trust services?
The personal banking team introduces the client to the appropriate department.
