Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. offers five personal deposit accounts: Free Checking, Interest Checking, the Money Market Account, the Savings Account, and the Certificate of Deposit. Free Checking, the Bank’s primary personal account, has no minimum balance requirement and no monthly maintenance service charge. The Bank is a national bank operating under Charter No. 24755 from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and its Board-approved vision statement names three priorities: “liquidity, asset quality, and financial strength.”
Every personal account is opened and serviced by the personal banking team at the Bank’s McLean, Virginia headquarters, and accounts open online from any U.S. state; no branch visit is required. Free Checking is the Bank’s primary personal account. Interest Checking and the Money Market Account are available for clients who want an interest-bearing account or paper statements.

How do I open a personal deposit account?

What is the minimum deposit to open an account?

Yes. Individuals and families in any U.S. state may open personal deposit accounts online; no branch visit is required. Accounts are serviced by the personal banking team at the Bank’s McLean, Virginia headquarters, by phone, online, and through the mobile app.
How do I avoid a monthly maintenance service charge?
Free Checking has no monthly maintenance service charge. For the other accounts, keep the listed average monthly balance: $2,000 for Interest Checking, $2,500 for the Money Market Account, and $100 for the Savings Account.
What terms are available for Certificates of Deposit?
Certificates of Deposit are available for terms from 3 months to 60 months. A relationship associate can discuss current options at 703.748.2005.

Can I deposit checks from my phone?
Yes. Mobile deposit is included with personal digital banking: photograph the front and back of the check in the mobile app, and endorse it “For Mobile Deposit Only at Chain Bridge Bank, N.A.” Deposits are subject to review and the Funds Availability Disclosure.
